Supporting Daddy on the Election Day 5 Sept 2010

So Mommy made an effort again... calling Godmom Linda to be our driver this time.. We were off all the way to Pokfulam again.. even tho we could not stay for a long day, mommy could not risk exhausting our lovely baby. Our presence definitely had put a big smile on Daddy's face. Daddy was surprised to see us too .. :)

Then we went to Cyber port Godmom Amy's apartment to rest! Baby needed a short nap :) and mommy wanted to nurse her :)

Supporting Daddy at his District Council Election

Daddy got arrested?? Mommy immediately packed the bag and went to HK west to be support daddy.. easy lunch to relax daddy for more waving in the afternoon....

and of cuz... all the crazy scams became positive support to our man here in the end.....

Second day of work and my pumping business!

So today was the second day of 'going back to work'! Well, I don't hate it, but of cuz i miss my darling daughter a lot. And hate to miss out the fun with her... you know.. the monkey talks, the red rocket man talks.. she is just too cute! I wish I can spend 7/24 with her.. yes.. every single hr until she has her own plan and schedule.... :) well well.. this is mommy's thinking i guess..

Happy Nursing Mom

It is the last day of my maternity leave.. it hurts me that I have to be away from my baby during the day! the last 2 months were very busy, but it has been my happiest moment in life too. Seeing baby smile, or chuckle, or cooing.. are something so incredible.. all are lovely moments.. and I do wish I have longer maternity leave... C'est la vie... need to earn a living too ~.~ today Eefje cried more .. sense that i will be back to work tomorrow?.. seeing her cry.. always put me in tears too.. just like when she had her first vaccine! My eyes were filled with tears! Maternity leave should really be longer.. at least covering 3 months.. as most babies settle well when they are three months old.. not to mention the challenge nursing mom has, being away from the baby!

Nursing Mom

I am absolutely in love with my darling daughter, she is so adorable. 8 weeks is a real milestone when baby really settles in more, Eefje was throwing us smiles when she was week 4, and by last week she would laugh even when she heard daddy's voice!! Me.. First time mom, being a nursing mom too, is trying to stick to what we call EBF (Exclusively Breast Feeding), strongly supported by Eefje's father. There were of cuz hard times just like any nursing moms would encounter.. cracked nipples, thrush, blisters.. u name it.. but of cuz, all worth it. I guess i am a stubborn capricorn, once I set my mind on something.. it is so hard for me to deviate from my plan! Regardless of how open minded I was in the beginning ... o.. mixed feed if I cannot handle.. Anyway, here I am, Eefje is 8 weeks, and I have been able to EBF. I am happy :) giving her a good start! and I finally have a bit of time and leisure mood to sit in front of my mac to update Tiger babe's blog! WOW! Look at that smile!!!
